About Us

Owner Dennis Collins has been a computer professional for over 30 years. His proven track record ranges from lead software engineer for a spacecraft telemetry system at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, to embedded computer hardware design. His experience includes real time GPS moving map software (both airborne and ground), active steering systems for agricultural machinery, and the first GPS "Free Form" tractor guidance algorithm. Mr. Collins conceived the hardware design of the first successful mass market Ag GPS guidance system, by making the system simpler and thus cost effective and reliable compared to it's predecessors. Four patents have been issued listing Mr. Collins as inventor, with one patent pending. As the Founder of Four Peaks Navigation, Mr. Collins is currently developing advanced guidance and positioning systems, leading multiple third party developers under contract to the company.
